Hallmarked Birmingham assay, the sideways anchor indicates a date range of 1834 to 1874 but the date letter is worn. The maker is JWT.
Well worn, quite a few dings give this piece some serious character. Measures ¾” by ¾”. Hinge opens to reveal a place for pictures. Hinge mechanism works perfectly, locket opens and closes perfectly. Weighs 3.8 grams.
